Ciao,
non mi intendo molto di linguaggi php ecc ecc,
vorrei un sistema facile per inserire una header animata per il mio sito.
Grazie.

Dipende dal tipo di animazione che vuoi creare. Puoi usare una semplice gif animata, come anche un'animazione Flash (esistono anche programmi alternativi a Flash, un po' più semplici da utilizzare).

a me piacerebbe che le immagini nella header ruotassero
stavo cercando di seguire le istruzioni a questo link:

però con scarsi risultati, ho creato 3 file .jpg chiamandoli header_1.jpg , header_2.jpg , header_3.jpg
sono andata a caricarli tramite ftp dentro:

/wp-content/themes/nomedeltema/image

ho sostituito il file esistente ed ho aggiunto gli altri, ora arriva la parte difficile (almeno per me) cioè andare a modificare header.php e style.css

sai come aiutarmi?

Leggendo così al volo, l'immagine del tuo header viene richiamata dal css come sfondo, mentre a te servirebbe che venisse richiamata nell'header.php in modo da poterla modificare col comando descritto nell'articolo. Dovresti quindi mettere mano al codice per cambiare in primo luogo questa cosa.

Il pezzo su cui devi lavorare credo sia questo:

Prendi queste indicazioni a livello indicativo, dato che non posso testarle e fai sempre una copia di quello che vai a modificare per sicurezza.

Ci sono temi, molti - e mi viene in mente amazing grace e blu grace di Prelovac - che nell'header hanno ciò che vai cercando.
Se studi dissezione di un tema dal wiki potrebbe essere che dissezionando qualcuno di questi altri temi trovi le parti di codice da adottare nel tuo..

Ovvio che sono gratuiti; li trovi anche su wordpress.org e, come dicevo, ci sono molti temi gratuiti che includono quella funzione nell'header.
